Next minibar cocktail will be from mister Cabanne ! After one year of highly grooving research on perlon with ark, karat, found sound and minibar with spasm as Ultrakurt, the chef is back on his own with drinks for everybody. This new EP sounds like Cabanne’s found some new pumpin’ ingredients to shake the dancefloor. Sounds are fresh, kick is deep. Check out B side track which will show you the way to minimal thermosphere.

Well done Mr. Cabanne! I can’t wait to pick this one up. Mini Bar is quite possibly my favorite source for slick micro house. A track from 001 or 002 gets played in just about every set on my regular Tuesday night here, and I’m even slipping some Mini Bar action into my set opening for Marco Carola tomorrow… keep it coming!

    MPLS love.

[…] Minibar003 review on WarpMart : Label boss Cabanne steps up for the third release from the Parisian Minibar label offering up 3 delicate minimal techno tracks with a great groove and plenty of character reminiscent of Matthew Dear’s dry-funk inflected productions minus the vocals. The overall sound of this release is fantastic - soft and gentle foundsounds and samples have been combined with some of the punchiest percussion around creating a uniquely heavy yet warm sound. […]
