After the smashing “Treat Me Bad EP“, Agnès is coming back home with a four tracker on Minibar. The Swiss groove seeker comes here with a few older tracks. Four tracks on which Mr. Cabanne got a grip once at Agnès‘ home sweet home, listening to older works. All cuts where produced between 2003 and 2005.
The EP is groovy, reducedly sweet and incredibly deep.

Top Single Recommendation
Cabanne’s Minibar label present this excellent dry-funk workout from the Swiss producer Agnes. This is deep stuff with a great groove built on a splattering of tight clunks, wiggling bass stabs and mangled vocal snippets. It’s reminiscent of the best aspects of Matthew Dear’s output, water-tight production that’s at times disorientating but always focused on the flow and development of the rhythms and grooves.
