Minibar a mis les petits plats dans les grands. Le label du parisien Cabanne a réuni dans sa première compilation la crème (glacée) de la minimale maison. Serti dans un joli coffret au graphisme épuré, le premier disque rassemble une série de maxis et d’inédits réalisés par des artistes encore peu connus : Agnès, Spasm, Ultrakurt… Le second, offert en bonus, est un mix du patron qui reprend la plupart de ces titres. L’album rappelle, s’il en était besoin, que la minimale, courant techno très prisé par la scène allemande, a aussi quelques pointures de ce côté-là du Rhin. Le batteur de Maceo Parker disait : « Le funk, c’est ce que tu joues, mais c’est aussi ce que tu ne joues pas. » Même principe avec la minimale, où la magie du groove s’opère à coup de rien.
